Tips for Creating Prosperity
By Terry Dickman
A life of creating prosperity doesn’t come overnight. Instead, it is the result of a gradual progression, as one learns more and more about what it takes to develop the mental, physical, and spiritual tools needed to succeed. Very few experience that kind of moment of self-realization. So what can you do to slowly build your brain toward this enlightened state and create wealth in your life? Here are some tips to get your started:
1. Keep an open mind. A particular idea or method might sound ridiculous the first time you hear it, but many of the best don’t immediately present themselves that way. Something drastically different from your current way of doing things could prove to be a long-term solution. In other words, look forward towards the future, and realize that it could very well appear quite different from the present. This is an important lesson emphasized in the “Attractior Factor.”
2. Embrace others’ ideas, as well as their mistakes. Philosophers and other teachers and coaches effectively spend their lives building systems that can change your life. The wise will use these ideas in whatever format they present themselves. Perhaps even more important is the ability to learn from others errors. Imagine if you had the knowledge of everything that hadn’t worked before! You could move worlds by simply taking the opposite approach. Guide yourself along the path others have blazed. When the right moment strikes, you can seize it to create prosperity and generate wealth !
3. Exercise patience. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and creating prosperity likely won’t be either. You’ll very probably find yourself frustrated along the way as you generate wealth. The way that you deal with this adversity will determine whether you continue along the path to becoming prosperous, or sputter out in failure.
4. Stay positive. If you look at mistakes as learning opportunities and challenges as chances to grow, you’ll stay much happier. Realize that life for most is an up and down roller coaster of emotion. If you can make those valleys less deep, your spiritual prosperity will outlast any turn for the worse.
5. Know what you want. If you have a clear vision of what you’re seeking, you are much more likely to find it then if you wander blindly. You need to truly believe that whatever you’re after is on its way towards you. Think of it as two objects on two separate paths that converge at a specific point. If you can make sure that you’re aware and cognizant of that point (whether it be in time, or space), you’ll create your own opportunities and create prosperity.
You’re closer to a prosperous life than you may think. Visualize the success that you want to achieve for yourself, and sooner or later you’ll attain it.
